El Benito de Evensong is a very handsome black gelding, clearly stamped with the characteristics of his champion fino sire, Ponderosa Coloso. His dam is La Sierra de la Amistad, the 2000 Reserve National Champion Pleasure Mare. As a result, Benito’s bloodlines both top and bottom are outstanding. Benito has a striking conformation, being very upright with a long neck and tremendous hocks. He was shown lightly in 2009, but won 1st place in all of his classes including the championship classes. In only his second time being shown at the National Paso Fino Horse show, he earned Sixth National Champion in both the Open and A/O divisions of the 3 Year Pleasure Stallions. He earned First Place in the Performance Futurity Stallions!
