Benito de Evensong is a very handsome black colt,
clearly stamped with the characteristics of his
champion fino sire, Ponderosa Coloso. His dam is La
Sierra de la Amistad, the 2000 Reserve National
Champion Pleasure Mare. As a result, Benito’s
bloodlines both top and bottom are outstanding.
Benito has a striking conformation, being very
upright with a long neck and tremendous hocks. Even
now as a young colt, he holds his head on the
vertical and tucks under, with movement reminiscent
of his sire, Coloso. He will be shown in Bella
Forma in 2007.
