Ann and Conga at Nationals.mov
La Conga, an eight year old bay mare, is by the stallion, Bolivar de Sol Reye out of Karma de Sol Reye. Conga is the classic example of the Paso Fino Performance mare. Her movements are elegant, quick, powerful, and refined. Her corto is a fino-type and her largo is fast and animated. In 2002 Conga won Reserve National Champion Performance Three year old fillies. In 2003 she earned Fourth National Champion Four year old fillies and Third Grand National Champion Performance Four year old fillies. In 2004 Conga was both the National Champion Performance Mare and Grand National Champion Performance Mare. After time off as a brood mare, we decided to show her again in 2007. She won numerous first place ribbons in regional shows and earned the 2007 Fifth National Champion A/O Performance Mare title. In 2008 she earned her Title of Proficiency, winning numerous regional shows. Her first and second foals are beautiful chestnut fillies. She will be bred in 2010 to Cortesano de La Vatrina.
